New Cards from Tokyo Milk

We have been trying to find these cards for years and after months of sleuthing (a regular aspect of our business!) we have located the source. The images and the sentiments seem anachronistic and require just a modicum of concentration to fully appreciate their satirical content. These four are only a snippet of the choices we have just received from pop culture icon Tokyo Milk... Come in to see the other choices. We're open Tuesday through Saturday 11-5 during these interminably long winter months. However, with March in our sights, daffodils will be popping up their heads soon enough!

Unusual Soap - Unobtainium?

Can you stand it? Right from Pandora we have the first available Un-obtanium in the modern era. (In the event that you have not seen "Avatar", Un-obtanium is the mineral the Earthlings have come to this moon to mine.) We get it from an outfit in Massachusetts and they swear it's authentic. It comes in a variety of alluring, crystalline looking forms and believe it or not, you can wash your hands with it! Sudsing is top notch and the anti-bacterial qualities will (maybe) prevent H1N1. I must equivocate here though and say that this claim may not be supported by the scientific community. Check it out! Only at G Squared. Call today for market prices.

Hilarious New Cards

There are so many reasons why we love our jobs and finding funny cards is one of our top ten. We just found this line when we were in New York and it has already arrived. This is just one that is my personal favorite. Danish cartoonists Anders Morgenthaler and Mikael Wulff definitely have an unusual sense of humor that we love. Here's a quote from their website: "Besides
that we kind of enjoy life; we have a huge mortgage to pay and have no insurance - we're just being optimistic. We love our TV and follow our mortgage rate constantly on the teletext. We think it would be a good idea for MTV to create a new channel just called MTV Mortgage which would only be about tips and tricks from real estate agents." And another, "We
rarely go outside and are a little uneasy with the whole concept of hotels and travel. Why would you want to travel when you can just go (sic) Spain and relax?"

The Big Snow!

Well, what a treat! A major snowstorm descended upon us overnight. It began at about 6:30 P.M. and continued on through the night. Before it was over we had nearly 20" on the ground. It was a gentle snow, so no drifting or blowing to distort the total accumulation. The serious aspect of the storm is that both Westmoreland and Allegheny counties are under a State of Emergency. I've never been under an official State of Emergency; however, I'm pretty sure I've have been under some personal States of Emergency. But this one is official. No vehicles are allowed on the highways. OK, continuing on, we got up this morning, put on our XC ski equipment and took a little tour of the town. The picture of our skis is outside of Abigails where we stopped for coffee. We couldn't belive they were open! It was beautiful and here are a few of the pictures. Hope you enjoy!
