On Saturday, March 27th, the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce is holding the first Soups On! event in Ligonier. Beginning at 11:00 A.M. more than 20 area chefs will be vying for bragging rights to Ligonier's best soup. Each restaurant will be paired up with a local shop in which they will be serving up their masterpiece. Visitors to town will sample the soups and vote for their favorite. Visitors need to register to participate. Cost for pre-registration is $5.oo plus a canned good. Registration on the day of the event is $8.00 plus a canned good. The canned foods will be donated to a local charity. This is going to be a great event for the town and local food banks. Please help us get the word out by forwarding this entry to all your friends!
